Cooked and more processed foods can be less nutritious containing lower levels of enzymes and antioxidants as the heat destroys more of the nutrition. Air-drying does not use high levels of heat, so the food provides similar benefits to feeding a raw diet without the mess.

Air-drying is a technique that has been used for centuries to naturally preserve meats. Our airdry ovens are set at low temperatures, slowly eliminating water particles from the mix, a process that inhibits the growth of bad bacteria, yeast and mould but preserves the naturally occurring nutrients and retains moisture for palatability. This results in a food that is almost as nutrient dense & digestible as a completely raw diet, but is clean & safe to handle.
